The best way to start those busy mornings is by making croissant sandwiches filled, delicious and microwaved!

You can make them in under 30 minutes and leave them in the freezer for a fast getaway the following morning.


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 mini croissants, halved horizontally
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced ham
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add eggs to the skillet and cook, whisking, until they just begin to set. Gently whisk in half and half; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  2. Continue cooking until thickened and no visible liquid egg remains, about 3-5 minutes; set aside.
  3. Fill croissants with eggs, ham and cheese to make 8 sandwiches. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and place in the freezer.
  4. To reheat, remove plastic wrap from the frozen sandwich and wrap in a paper towel. Place into microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through completely.
  5. Serve immediately.

Everybody loves pizza, and a lot also love pasta as well. And why not combine the two and create a delicious meal?

We did exactly that – pizza style spaghetti casserole for the whole family.

It takes about 15 minutes of prep time, another 15 minutes to cook it and 40 minutes to bake it in the oven.

As you can see it takes quite a bit of time to cook this dish, but the results will be totally worth the effort!


  • 12 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (1-lb.) package mild ground pork sausage
  • 2 ounces turkey pepperoni slices (about 30), cut in half
  • 1 (26-oz.) jar tomato-and-basil pasta sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (8-oz.) package shredded Italian three-cheese blend

  1. Cook spaghetti with 1/2 tsp. salt according to package directions. Drain well, and place in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until meat crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain and set aside. Wipe skillet clean. Add pepperoni, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until slightly crisp.
  3. Top spaghetti in baking dish with sausage; pour pasta sauce over sausage. Arrange half of pepperoni slices evenly over pasta sauce. Sprinkle evenly with cheeses. Arrange remaining half of pepperoni slices evenly over cheese. Cover with nonstick or lightly greased aluminum foil.
  4. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes; remove foil, and bake 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted and just begins to brown.

  • Extra-virgin olive oil, for brushing
  • (10-oz.) bag frozen broccoli (about 3 c.), thawed and patted dry
  • large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. panko bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • Kosher salt

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Brush a rimmed baking sheet with oil and line with parchment paper. Brush parchment with oil.
  2. Pat broccoli dry and very finely chop broccoli or pulse in a food processor until very finely chopped. Scrape chopped broccoli into a medium bowl and stir in egg, panko, cheddar, Parmesan, and garlic powder. Season with salt.
  3. Scoop 1 tablespoon broccoli mixture and press into a tater tot shape using lightly dampened hands. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Continue with remaining broccoli mixture, evenly spacing tots on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake, turning once, until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve warm with ketchup.
